In addition to our daily commitment of ecological sustainability, supporting social projects holds significant importance for us.
Hence, we fused play and purpose during our summer festival in September by organizing a CSR quiz (CSR = Corporate Social Responsibility). Four teams – named as the colours Red, Blue, Yellow, Green – competed and tested their knowledge of economic, ecological, and social responsibility. The outcome wasn’t just a neck-and-neck race but also a victory for a self-selected charitable organization per team.”
Team “Blue”: Prevention of food waste, helping people | Tafel Germany
Team ‘Blue’ excelled in the quiz, securing a donation of €1000.00 for Tafel Germany. Tafel Germany undertakes crucial work, aiding individuals impacted by poverty while simultaneously reducing food waste.
Team “Red”: Children’s Aid in War Zones | Kinderhilfe Bethlehem
Another €1000.00 was earned by Team ‘Red’ for Kinderhilfe Bethlehem. Since 1963, this international organization has been undertaking invaluable work, annually assisting tens of thousands of sick children in Palestine.
Team “Green”: Research & Therapy for Cancer | KinderKrebshilfe
The €1000.00 from Team ‘Green’ is donated to the German KinderKrebshilfe. An organization that performs incredible work in establishing children’s cancer centres, advancing research, and providing support for therapy.
Team “Yellow”: Last Wish Come True | Wünschewagen
Team ‘Yellow’ allocated their €1000.00 to the Wünschewagen. An organization that grants the last wishes for seriously ill individuals, creating moments of joy and happiness. Representatives from the parent organization ASB visited our main location in Berlin and personally accepted the donation.”
Gloves for Dog Rescue
Alongside the four monetary donations, we extended our support by donating to the organization Hunderettung Europa e.V., providing (30.000 pcs) unused examination gloves.
