Two Bronze Medals for Vanguard AG at This Year’s Climate Saver Awards by the viamedica Foundation
Vanguard AG received two bronze medals at this year’s Climate Saver Awards, hosted by the viamedica Foundation.
The foundation was established in 2002 by environmental award-winner and hygiene expert Prof. Dr. Franz Daschner. Its work focuses on environmental protection and sustainability in the healthcare sector. Since 2017, the foundation has run the project “Klimaretter – Lebensretter” (“Climate Savers – Life Savers”), aimed at raising awareness of climate protection among healthcare professionals. The initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) as part of the National Climate Initiative. Vanguard has been involved in the project since 2022.
The awards ceremony took place on June 3, 2025, during the 7th National Climate Saver Day, held as part of the Better Products & Solutions Congress 2025 in Berlin.
Joshua Okojie, Corporate Sustainability Manager & Executive Board Associate, and Verena Ambeau, Executive Board Associate, gratefully accepted the award.
