The Sustainable Sprinters certainly lived up to their name. The five runners crossed the finish line in Berlin’s Tiergarten as the 183rd team out of 5,267 registered relays, with a time of 01:53:56.

The ReManufacturing Runners also also delivered a strong performance, finishing with a time of 02:07:44.

All participants and supporters were enthusiastic. Not only did the weather cooperate, but the atmosphere among the runners from various Vanguard departments — including Production, IT, Product Management, Sales and R&D — was relaxed and upbeat.

Since many do not work closely together in their day-to-day roles, events like this provide a great opportunity to connect and strengthen team spirit.

The runners are already looking forward to participating again next year in the 25th anniversary edition of the relay race.

There is also optimism that more women from the team will take part in 2026 — and that Vanguard may be represented for the first time with three relay teams. 😊
